BEGINNER TAX TRAINING
Ready to start your new career in preparing taxes? We have a course to get you started! If you're from California we recommend you choose the 60 Hour course to meet CTEC requirements. Anyone outside of California can start with our Tax Preparation course. Choose a language below to learn more about each course.
RENEWING TAX PROS
California: The CTEC 20 Hour Continuing Education renewal course fulfills the CTEC requirement for preparers who have already completed 60 hours of Qualifying Education.
Other states: The Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) is an annual voluntary program for preparers. It aims to recognize the efforts of non-credentialed tax return preparers who aspire to a higher level of professionalism. Perks of this include a certificate directly from the IRS, limited representation rights, and get your name on the public directory of tax return preparers on the IRS website.
